In what many expect to be a fun game, Team USA will take on Team Austria in the first round of the 2011 World Championships of Ice Hockey. The entire event will take place in Slovokia, with two major venues being used. This game will take place in Kosice on Saturday April 30th, 2011 at 16:15.

Group C will be a fun mixture of teams. Of the four groups, this has the potential to be the toughest group, with two teams sitting near the top.

England are the clear group favorites due to the impact Fabio Capello has had on the team. They have a lot of players in their peak right now and this is their best chance of winning the World Cup.

The squad has officially been named and is a combination of both veterans of the World Cup so to speak as well as a bunch of newbies. This is a good team and may have a surprise or two for the other teams in the group.

The 2010 World Cup group stages presents us with many different options for betting. There are eight groups in the opening rounds of the tournaments, each with four teams fighting for two places per group in the knockout Round of 16.
