We continue to look a bit deeper into the different groups of the World Cup and we’ll try to find some predictions for Group C where England has been pointed out as the big favorite. We don’t think that England will win the whole tournament, even if Capello seem more likely to get them far than any other manager in the last years. We are however, confident they will qualify from the group. England face USA in their first game in Rustenburg, same place where they have their hotel and training camp.

Algeria – Slovenia, 13th June 2010

Algeria is a nation not seen to often in the World Cup playoffs, but they have not come for vacation that’s for sure.

“The fans back home are in dreamland. It means so much.” says coach Rabah Saadane and continues: “Although there may be an advantage for England and USA, I think that on the whole this is an equal group. It’s very difficult to say who will qualify.”

Slovenia know they are an underdog in this tournament, but are full of confident after knocking out Russia from the qualifiers. They have played with a lot of self-belief and we believe they can cause some upsets. Why not against Algeria in the first game?
