Chile 2010 World Cup
Group H – Chile’s Chances
Chile is favored to take second in their group this year at the World Cup. They’ll face a tough Spain and have Switzerland and Honduras battling it out for one of the two tickets to advance.
Spain was undefeated in the preliminary rounds and is the European champions. Switzerland is put in the middle of a Hispanic dominated group and will be looking to get further than their final 16 appearance in Germany 2006. Honduras makes the World Cup group stage for the second time since Spain 1982.
The favorites for group H are Spain and Chile with Spain getting the prediction of taking the group. The underdogs will be Switzerland and Honduras but at this stage, everyone’s a threat. Chile finished second in the South America qualifiers behind the powerhouse Brazilian team and will definitely give Spain a run for their money.

Chile Coaching
Chile is coached by Marcelo Bielsa. Bielsa was in charge of Argentina in the 2002 World Cup and was favored to win it all. Unfortunately, a first round upset sent the Argentineans home. Bielsa is nicknamed El Loco or in English, The Madman. The Chileans have gained an enormous respect for Bielsa and are looking to see him take their nation far in the 2010 World Cup.
