Glenn Strömberg’s Predictions Tuesday 27th April

1

Hi Expekt-friends!

The Champions League semi-finals will be the main events before this weekend’s activities with Lyon vs Bayern Munich leading the way on Tuesday evening.

Lyon’s odds to proceed to the Champions League final look favourable against Bayern Munich and there is a good game taking place this evening in the Swedish Superettan where GIF Sundsvall take on Jönköpings Södra.

Champions League Semi-Final: Lyon – Bayern Munich

Prediction: Lyon to Qualify for the Final

Odds: 3.55 at Expekt.com

Lyon didn’t have a league game over the weekend whilst Bayern Munich travelled to Monchengladbach and drew 1-1 in the Bundesliga game. Lyon will be fresher for the tie against Bayern Munich and this is the first time the French football association called off a game at the weekend before a big match in Europe. Bayern Munich however won the first leg at home 1-0 so have something to hold onto in the return leg. The odds on Lyon going through are just too good at 3.55. All they need to do is score 1 goal to even it up plus they will have home advantage and fresher legs. On the other hand, Bayern will play on the counter attack but have the influential Franck Ribery missing.

Superettan: GIF Sundsvall – Jönköpings Södra

Prediction: GIF Sundsvall to win (1×2)

Odds: 1.70 at Expekt.com

The odds on GIF Sundsvall at home against Jönköpings Södra are decent. GIF Sundsvall are pretty strong at home and fought very well in the last game away from home to Hammarby. There is a good chance for another three points at home.
